Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

None. The app does not:

• collect analytics such as usage statistics or crash reports;
• track you or your device, or show ads;
• require an account or sign-in;
• include any third-party SDK that communicates over the network.

2. Files you open

Files handled by artifact inspection, OTA distribution and profile management (IPA, APK, AAB, .mobileprovision) are read on your Mac only. Their contents and anything derived from them (bundle IDs, signing certificates, permission lists and so on) are shown in the app window and are never transmitted anywhere. Inspection never modifies the original file.

OTA files (manifest.plist, install.html, the QR image) are written only to the folder you choose. The app does not upload them to any server.

3. Network use

The app uses the network in exactly one case: when you register your own App Store Connect API key (Issuer ID, Key ID and .p8 file) and use a feature that needs it, the app connects to Apple's App Store Connect API at api.appstoreconnect.apple.com.

• The .p8 private key stays on your Mac. The app stores only a reference to the file (a macOS security-scoped bookmark) and signs request tokens locally. The key itself is never sent anywhere, including to Apple.
• Apple's handling of these requests is governed by the Apple Developer Program agreements and Apple's privacy policy.
• If you never register an API key, the app makes no network connections at all.

4. Data stored on your Mac

• App settings (theme, language, text size, OTA URL settings, API key details and similar) are stored in the app's sandbox container provided by macOS.
• Access to the profile folder and to .p8 files is remembered with security-scoped bookmarks that you grant in the open panel. You can remove them in the app at any time.
• The profile activity history (downloads, creations, device registrations and so on) is kept locally and can be cleared with "Clear History".
• Deleting the app removes its container and this data with it. Files you placed yourself, such as the .p8 file, are never deleted by the app.

5. Third-party libraries

The app bundles the open-source library Lottie to play a loading animation. It is used for display only and does not access the network or collect data. There are no other third-party SDKs.

6. Sharing and selling

Since nothing is collected, nothing is shared with or sold to anyone. The communication with Apple described in section 3 happens at your request, using your own account and key.

7. Children

ShouArchive is a tool for software developers and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If the way the app handles data actually changes, the app's release notes will say so as well.
